Darwin published the On the Origin of Species 150 years ago.   I ran across what looks like an interesting movie which examines Darwin’s science in light of what we know today.

One of my most favorite articles, is The Sixteen Grandsons of Noah from Australia’s Creation Ministries.

I’m not writing much here so you will have more time to read the article.  For instance, find out how the Turks, Armenians, Germans, Welsh, Spanish, and French are related.

You may want to use this chart to follow Noah’s family tree.

“Here’s $5.05 for your $2.02.” I handed the optician my money with a bemused smile.

“And here’s $3.03 for your $5.05,” he replied as he handed me my change.

We were both amused with how the money came out.

“Here is something for you,” I offered him 4 Laws – Discovering God in Chinese Characters. “This tells how God preserved the message of Genesis in the Chinese language.”

“Thank you!” Keith was intrigued. “My boys love Japanese. I think they will like this!”

Follow the link to this tract if you would like to order some to share with your unbelieving friends and family.  If you are interested in more information about the hidden message in ancient Chinese characters, do a search on “Chinese characters” at Answers in Genesis.

Instead of writing something, I am recommending some well-thought-out articles.

I just reread this excellent article, Does God Exist.

I also recommend two different series of web pages about the existence of God. Start at these links:

1) from the Institute for Creation Research

2) from EveryStudent.com

Follow the links embedded in the articles to go through each of the series.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed May 1, 2008

We enjoyed the movie, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. We hope you have a chance to go soon if you have not gone yet. We suspect it will not be in theaters for very long.

The movie is about the suppression by academia and the media of any anti-evolutionary research and opinions. We have studied this issue ourselves and can recommend this movie.

Please see the movie if you would like to know more about:
• The link of evolutionism to atheism
• How putting evolution into practice led to the Holocaust
• Evidence that scientists and journalists who question Darwinism (or who are even just willing to grant the freedom of open debate) lose their jobs and/or are ostracized

Whether or not you agree with us that God created the universe in the recent past, we should still have the freedom of expression and exploration of this topic in America. Adamant suppression actually hurts scientific advancement.

I have Lee Strobel’s book and just learned that a new DVD based on his book is available. According to the email I received, “The Case for a Creator DVD is one of the most compelling arguments for the intelligent design theory and is useful for believers and skeptics alike.” The DVD and the book both chronicle Strobel’s journey from atheism to faith and also challenge the reader to think about God.

I recommend this article, which appeared in yesterday’s Washington Post, about a significant Hadrosaur fossil find in North Dakota .  The fossil, named Dakota, is almost like seeing a dinosaur made out of stone.

Dakota has already improved our knowledge of hadrosaurs.   From studying this fossil, scientists concluded hadrosaur’s tails were longer and their “backside was about 25 percent larger than previously thought.”   Dakota’s fossilized scales are three-dimensional and the palm had a fleshy pad.

You may also want to view a slide show of the excavation and a reconstruction of Dakota.

The Hydroplate Theory November 30, 2007

I first learned of this theory proposed by Dr. Walter Brown on a TV special around 1986 . You can know see the six-minute interview of Dr. Brown from this special on YouTube. The interview included an animation of his theory. This is one of my favorite videos. His theory gives a very plausible explanation of how the flood occurred.

You might want to visit Dr. Brown’s web site and/or order his book, In The Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood. His book is on my bookshelf and I have used his material frequently for presenting creation evidence to students and other groups.

You can read the entire book online.
